Amphilochios: Saint of Patmos explores the life and spiritual legacy of a beloved twentieth-century saint from the Greek island of Patmos. Filmed over the course of the first celebration of his April feast day in 2019, locals and pilgrims to the island share their stories of the saint. St. Amphilochios (1889-1970) was a tireless spiritual father, missionary, and founder of orphanages and monasteries.

Sacred Alaska: Native Alaskan Peoples and Orthodox Christianity have been intertwined for hundreds of years. From the Native perspective, the land, the water, the animals, and plants – all creation is sacred and connected. This film explores Native Alaskan Orthodoxy and what it means to be fully human.

We would like to thank Mimi Scaljon a parishioner at Annunciation Cathedral parishioner who has arranged for us to see the movie on April 9 at Tara Theater.

Please share with your friends so that many would attend!
